Privacy and disclosure
We keep one thing about you, only if you ask us to: an email address, so we can tell you when tickets go on sale.
What we store
If you set a booking watch, we store the email address you typed, the route you were looking at, the month you said you were travelling, and whether you wanted the alert on release day or a week before. That is the whole record. We use it to send you the alert you asked for.
We do not ask for your name, your payment details, or your travel documents, and we have no accounts to sign into. We do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone, including the operators and sellers we link to.
Leaving
Every email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe. You can also write to us and ask to be removed, and we will delete the record rather than merely silencing it.
Who processes it
- Resend stores the contact list and delivers the email.
- Vercel hosts the site and handles the request when you submit the form.
Both are processors acting on our instructions. We use no advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, and no cross-site cookies. The site sets no cookies of its own.
How we are paid
SleeperTrain does not sell tickets and holds no inventory. Some of the outbound links under "Where to book" earn us a commission if you book through them, and those links are marked as sponsored in the page itself. The order sellers appear in is set on booking fees, inventory and refund terms. The operator's own site is ranked first whenever it deserves to be, including on the many routes where it pays us nothing.
Fares, timings and ticket-release rules on this site are hand-maintained and representative rather than live inventory. Each route cites its source. Confirm everything with the operator before you pay.
